COVID-19 Update

Lake Padgett Estates Independent Special District (LPEISD) will reopen all District parks, Saturday, May 2, 2020,to allow essential recreation activities outlined in Florida’s Safer-At-Home order such as walking, biking, hiking, fishing, swimming or running. Federal and state social distancing/gathering guidelines remain in place. Groups of more than 10 will not be permitted, and social distancing of six feet is necessary to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Pursuant to applicable State guidelines currently in effect, a social gathering in a public place is NOT an essential activity; therefore, gatherings of people greater than ten (10) will not be permitted to congregate within District parks.

LPEISD, based on Center for Disease Control guidelines, recommends that residents and their guests wear cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

NOTE: Residents or their guests violating federal and state social distancing/gathering guidelines will subject the resident to having their park access cards temporarily suspended until the next meeting of the LPEISD Board of Supervisors, at which time they will need to appear before the Board to have it reactivated.
